Visual Communication Mini Workshop as a part of Design and Product Development course.

Learning Outcomes:

This 3 days mini-course specifically made to assist anybody who is interested in understanding and gaining the required skill of sketching. The focus of this mini-course will be on basic techniques of sketching using pen and pencil only. Exploration and demonstration will be given beginning from the basic of sketching to perspective drawing and rendering. Use drawings as a method for exploration, conceptual development, storyboarding, and communication.

Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be able to:

Use drawings as a method for exploration, conceptual development, storyboarding, and communication

Create sketches that are a great source of inspiration in support of your idea

Gain experience in creating simple silhouettes and wireframes for objects before working on the details

Draw the layouts, including verbal information, for a specific design project.

Develop drawing skills necessary for conceptualising, developing and clearly illustrating and explaining all aspects of a design idea.

Develop a variety of drawing techniques that convey both the visual and functional description of the product.

Enhance speed and depth of your design thinking process.
