OUR INTERNS 2026-Askin Battley
Welcoming Askin Battley to WOWME

Askin joins the 2026 internship program from Queensland University of Technology.
From the outset, he is engaged in real-world industry projects, contributing to ongoing product development rather than working on isolated academic briefs. This allows his academic foundation to be applied immediately in a practical, production-focused environment.
His work so far includes client conversations, CAD development with a focus on manufacturability, and exposure to structured product development methodologies. Through this, he is gaining insight into how design decisions are shaped by technical constraints, timelines, and commercial considerations.
The approach is straightforward: learning through direct involvement. Understanding not only form, but also function, engineering logic, and the path toward production.
Looking forward to seeing how Askin develops and contributes over the coming months.
